building inspection companies through the U.S. and Canada. The report is used by
many of the leading inspection companies through the US and Canada, including members of
The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the California Real Estate Inspectors
Association (CREIA) You will receive an unbiased third party inspection, conducted in accordance with national recognized standards of practice. The report will identify any major deficiencies which might affect your decision to purchase property. It can also be used as a negotiating tool (photos provided, if necessary).
Home Inspections will provide you with a comprehensive report that is easy to read and covers all aspects of your home, within the following categories: Grounds: Grading, sidewalk, driveway, window wells, retaining walls, fences, trees and shrubs. Roofing & Exterior: Type, age and condition, material used, flashing, gutters downspouts, exterior doors, windows, skylights, wall covering, trim, chimney, garage, porches and decks. Interior & Attic: Floors, walls, ceiling, stair/railing, fireplaces, doors and windows, insulation, ventilation, signs of moisture & pests. Electrical & Kitchen: Appliances, service entrance, capacity, random testing of outlets and switches. Plumbing & Bathrooms: Type and condition of pipes, tub, toilet, water heater, overview of each bathroom. Heating & Cooling: Type, age and condition of systems, capacity and fuel supply. Type and condition of distribution such as radiators or convectors, as well as supplementary heat. Structural & Basement: Condition of foundation, floors, walls, roof and type of damage, if any.
